CAEfatigue Software (Cf) V2024.1 Release Note

We are sharing the release notes for CAEfatigue version 2024.1.

Key Feature Description

Modal Frequency Domain: Supports modal stresses in multi-input frequency domain analysis for Nastran and Abaqus result files, significantly reducing disk space requirements and overall execution time.

New Test Tools Added: Updates for Time2PSD, Bounding Diagonals, Enveloping, and modal contributions.

Marc Native File Support: Supports Marc H5 and T16 for transient runs in linear and nonlinear quasi-static and time-domain fatigue.

Improved Block Loading: Enhanced performance makes block load input more convenient.

Time-Domain Modal/Channel Visualization: Added to identify the most influential modes/channels causing damage.

Multiple Individual Static Load Files for Ansys: Now supported.

Multiple Nastran HDF5 Files: Supported for single-input random frequency domain analysis.

Enhanced Performance for Aero Load Spectrum: Improved handling for long sequences.

Abaqus 2024 Result Files Supported: Performance for multi-input frequency domain analysis improved via Abaqus.

GUI Specific

Fringe Plotter: Supports CPEG Abaqus element types.

Post-Processing Menu in Linux: Added a menu item to open results for post-processing.

Notes Control in cfmodel Documents: Added for writing notes.

Page Addition in cfmodel Documents: New pages can be added.

CSV Merge Utility: Supports time-domain results.

Fatigue Tools in GUI: No separate license required when run via GUI.

RedHat 7 is no longer supported.
